While in college at North Carolina State University in the animal science program, Tracy got a part-time job working for Dr. John Strasser at Kildaire Animal Medical Center in Cary. She took on many roles including receptionist, animal care assistant and technician, not to mention the hospital’s “go-to-girl”. She was thrilled, when after graduation in 1988, Dr. Strasser offered her the practice management position which she held for 23 years. During these years she helped Dr. Strasser and his partners open three other veterinary hospitals in the Triangle area. She became a member of the Carolina Veterinary Manager’s Association in 1996, a local group which offers its members leadership and business knowledge through continuing education and discussion forums. She has attended many veterinary management seminars over the years and loves learning new management techniques and working with her team to deliver the exceptional veterinary experience to all of her customers. She was honored to accept the practice manager position at Dr. Strasser’s largest undertaking yet, Carolina Ranch Animal Hospital and Resort.

When not at work, Tracy enjoys spending time with her husband, George, two children, Lindsay and Nathan, and her ever energetic Jack Russell/Italian Greyhound, Shiro. She also has 2 cats, Frankie and Whiskey who help run the household as only cats can! She also enjoys walking, reading and accompanying her children to after school activities such as karate, soccer and bowling.
