Dr. Hannah Reynolds was born and raised just outside of Houston, Texas, but she’s been calling North Carolina home since 2008. Dr. Reynolds attended Wake Forest University (Go Deacs!) where she received a Bachelor of Science in Biophysics.
After graduating from college, Dr. Reynolds moved to Raleigh to join the combined DVM-PhD program at North Carolina State University. During her 10 years at NCSU, she worked in the small animal ICU, the large animal hospital, and as an emergency surgery technician. Her PhD work focused on how hormones affect metabolism and systemic health in animals. While Dr. Reynolds has left the lab behind, her scientific skills translate well to the clinic where she loves staying up to date on the newest veterinary research and the occasional endocrine case that takes her back to her grad school days. Dr. Reynolds loves all aspects of general practice, but especially enjoys ophthalmology (eyes), internal medicine, oncology (cancer), and diagnostic imaging. More than anything, Dr. Reynolds knows how important the human-animal bond is and enjoys helping her clients and patients strengthen and maintain this bond.
Dr. Reynolds and her husband live in Raleigh with their two daughters, one dog, and one cat. Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Reynolds loves cooking, playing adult recreational kickball, weightlifting, and spending as much time outside as possible.
