Brad started his career in animal care at the age of 2 helping his Dad in the family Veterinary Practice. He worked part time while going to school and gained much experience as Kennel and Plant manager, as well as consultant in the animal care field at Carolina Ranch. One could say he is a “whisperer” of sorts.

The son of Dr. John Strasser and a longtime animal lover, Brad grew up in the Wake County area and has recently relocated to the town of Garner to be closer to this new endeavor and his responsibilities. His formal experience in animal care started at age nine at Kildaire Animal Medical Center in Cary with his first paying full time job, and continues to grow to this day. As the kennel manager at KAMC, he specialized in teaching, animal training, daycare management, medical nursing and post op care, hygiene, and animal handling/restraint. He was also employed at Town and Country Animal Care Center, and periodically at Preston Animal Hospital, both practices of which his father co-owns.

Taking after his elder, Brad also shares a love of English Bulldogs. He currently enjoys keeping his wonderful 5-year-old female bulldog, Puddin, at his home in Garner. He graduated from Wake Tech Community College in 2012 with an associate’s degree in business management.

Professionally, he is interested in small animal reproduction, especially the breeding of English Bulldogs, and quality of life enrichment for all four-legged and furry breeds.

Outside of the office, Brad enjoys football, physical fitness, fishing, hiking, being with old friends, and most of all, spending time with family.
