Dr. Melinda Perry is originally from Portsmouth, Virginia but has been in the Raleigh area for most her life. She attended North Carolina State University and received her Bachelors of Business Management in 1984. She is a graduate of the College of Veterinary Medicine at North Carolina State University in the class of 1998. Dr. Perry enjoys cats and dogs equally and has specialized interests in internal medicine, preventative medicine and surgery.
She has lots of four legged children: three cats “Percy, Olive, and Sterling”, five dogs “Doc, Coby, Elijah, Jaxson, and Pippa”, and two horses “Joker and Holly.”
She enjoys bonding with her clients and taking care of their fur babies too. She has a special fondness for the Pitbull and shepherd breeds and mixes.
Outside of veterinary medicine she enjoys reading, gardening in her yard, watching Netflix, being at Topsail Beach, and cooking for her family.
