Experience: Graduated in 2015 from NCSU College of Veterinary Medicine. Worked for the past 7+ years in small animal general practice and emergency care. Environmental Education Peace Corps volunteer from 2004 – 2006 stationed at Liwonde National Park, Malawi, Africa. MS in Ecology in 2002 at Indiana State University. BA in Biology in 2001 at St. Mary’s College of Maryland.
Professional Interests or certifications:
Laparoscopic/minimally invasive surgeries (primarily ovariectomies, gastropexies, cryptorchid surgery, and liver biopsies), reproductive medicine, and sports medicine and physical therapy
Family: My mother and I bought a home together nearby in 2020. I have family in Pennsylvania, New York, and the Outer Banks.
Dog Sports! I compete nationally with my dogs in flyball and enjoy training and occasionally competing in dock diving, disc dog, and agility.

Sushi – 4yr, 1/2 Border Collie, 1/2 Whippet. Active in flyball with our club FurFun Flyball. Competed with our club in 2022 and 2023 ESPN/AKC Flyball Invitationals, with our team coming in 3rd. One of the fastest flyball dogs in a tristate area!
Tonks – 1yr, 1/2 Border Collie, 1/2 Whippet. Daughter of Sushi. Crazy fun goofball. Currently in training for flyball and always willing to get into trouble.
