Deanna has always loved animals ever since she was little. She’s been around dogs her whole life. Deanna became interested in training when she met her first border collie, Jupiter, who was trained to help with her migraines. Mentoring under Lynn Rives for the time she was training Jupiter helped further her passion to become a trainer. While growing up she can remember being given the nickname Ellie Mae because she would have all sorts of animals show up in her family’s yard to be rescued or to help find their owners when they were lost.

Deanna enjoys helping owners create a bond with their dogs and helping them train their dogs to be well-mannered family members. Her biggest passion is helping owners with puppies and guiding them to train a confident, playful, and well socialized loving puppy. Training was not her first passion; She actually went to college for vocal performance, so sometimes you can find her singing to the animals.

She currently lives in Fuquay Varina with her husband, daughter, 2 Border Collies, a Husky/Lab mix, 2 Papillons, and 4 cats.
