Alexia Mazzarella, DVM, cVMA graduated from Michigan State University in the Class of 2024. While at MSU, she served as the 2024 Class President all four years and was very involved with the Student American Veterinary Medical Association, serving on the Executive Board for two years as the Veterinary Economics Officer. It was through these experiences that she developed a passion for organized veterinary medicine and serving her community. Her veterinary interests include soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, acupuncture, rehab, and palliative care, especially for geriatric patients. In her free time, Alexia likes attending local gym classes, hiking and biking at local state parks/national parks, traveling to new states & countries, and exploring local Farmer’s Markets. Alexia moved to Apex, NC last year with her fiancé to complete a year-long rotating internship at Blue Pearl Pet Hospital in Cary, NC. Dr. Mazzarella looks forward to joining the Carolina Ranch family!
