Dr. Taylor Smith is originally from Memphis, Tennessee. She earned her undergraduate degree in Animal Science with a minor in Biology, followed by her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine, from The University of Tennessee. After graduating in 2022, Dr. Smith relocated to North Carolina to begin her career as a veterinarian. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, with a special interest in preventative medicine, hospice care, general surgery, internal medicine, and endoscopy.
Dr. Smith loves getting to know both her patients and their people and is passionate about building strong, trusting relationships with her clients. Her main goal is to make sure every pet and pet parent feels comfortable, heard, and well cared for.
Dr. Smith is the proud pet mom of five: two dogs, Fury and Samson, and three cats, Jeanie, Widow, and Smoke. When she isn’t spending time with her furry family, you can usually find her hiking a new trail, working out, camping, running in a 5K or 10K, or cheering loudly for the Philadelphia Eagles.
